About

Andreas Kongsgaard is a sound designer and supervising sound editor based in Denmark. He graduated from the Danish filmschool in 2005 and have since worked on a variety of film, television and commercial projects and has received recognition for his work in the film industry. With a keen ear for detail and creating immersive soundscapes, Andreas is a well-respected storyteller in the field of sound design.

Next to his work as sound designer, he is teaching and supervising various sound design courses at the National film school in both Norway and Denmark.

He also did NGO work for for the ministry of foreign affairs DANIDA in Thimphu, Bhutan - As part of the "filmskills development program”.

2006 Winner of Gold-Dok at CPH-DOX, Copenhagen documentary film festival, for best sound in a documentary: “My eyes”
